Currently, according to Minam (2019), Peru generates approximately 19 thousand tons of municipal solid waste, of which 48% of solid waste is disposed of in dumps that are unauthorized places that put the quality of the environment at risk and people's health. Currently and focused on Lima, according to SINIA (2017), it is the department that generates the highest amount of solid waste (2172446.90 tons / year). The situation regarding solid waste in Lima Metropolitana is worrying, due to the inadequate management of the collection and transport of solid waste by 65.1% of the district municipalities of Lima Metropolitana (MINAM, 2018) The present project aims to implement a technological model that allows optimizing the solid waste collection and transportation process in Lima Metropolitana under Agile methodologies such as Scrum and the management of projects based on PMBOK. For the implementation of said technological model, existing technologies, infrastructure tools and platforms will be evaluated and the most convenient options for the purpose of the project will be selected. The technological model will allow monitoring and optimizing the solid waste collection processes, achieving optimal routes, and collecting most of the solid waste with the least use of resources. This model will allow a constant flow of information and an improvement in matters of solid waste collection management.
