The present work focuses on the problems of the shortage of spare parts in the warehouse of a company dedicated to the automotive industry. In the investigation, it is confirmed that this problem causes economic losses higher than the S / 453, 000.28 soles to the company and also generates a decrease in the level of quality of service, this due to not having the availability of spare parts requested by the customers internal and external. After the analysis of the problem identified as a solution proposal the implementation of the Supply Chain Management methodology, which will allow us to reduce our cost and increase our customer satisfaction; in addition, it will allow us to carry out a study of the demand for the spare parts in order to purify the obsolete parts and avoid the over stock of spare parts; additional to this, it will allow us to improve the attention of our clients through the implementation of processes and training to the personnel in charge. In turn, it is confirmed that the lack of supply of spare parts is also due to the lack of processes in the management of the supply chain and compliance with good practices in supply logistics. The application of the tools and their validation allowed to obtain optimal results, such as the increase of the service level to 95% and the viability of the project because the NPV is higher than S / 142,898.93 and an IRR greater than 30% is obtained.
