The present investigation "Use of databases to identify risks in the imports of safety accessories for motorcyclists from China in the company Skmotos, Chimbote 2018" is supported by Information theory by Claude E. Shannon and Warren Weaver applied to technology as an improvement in the decision-making process based on the specific search, storage and data processing systems. The primary purpose is determinate wich are the risks that are identified with the use of database, in the imports of safety accessories for motorcyclists from China in the company Skmotos, Chimbote 2019. For the development, it is based on a non-experimental descriptive design, using a real approach, without the need to manipulate any of the variables. This company is dedicated to sell motorcycles like certains brands, such as: Italika, Bajaj, Ssenda, Cross, Sanya and Bashan brands and sale safety accessories as helmets Ls2, USA and MBM brands also knee pads , elbow patches and others decorative stuff. For the development, a checklist was made with 12 existing risks in the import of products based on Belaunde (2014), evaluating the risks that exist in the company and those that can be identified with databases. Finally, it was concluded that the company must confront nine risks, of which four can be identified with the use of database bases.
