ABSTRACT The present work was carried out with the information obtained in the company American Engineered Products. SAC. To this end, a wide fieldwork has been carried out, which consists of collecting information through interviews, direct observation and surveys, which were processed and analyzed in order to obtain a situational diagnosis of the company. The main objective is to design and propose an MRP system to improve productivity in the repair of heavy machinery shovel in the company American Engineered Products SAC, in order to improve the techniques and tools of work, which have not been efficient enough And effective for this was proposed a methodology based on indicators of production which is reflected in the reduction of labor costs, physical efficiency and economic efficiency, as well as the production operation times were identified identifying the deficiencies that decrease the Optimum performance of operations. The main results will be the increase in economic efficiency at 0.90 which indicates that 90% of input raw material is used in the final product due to calibrations and manufacturing standards and an increase in economic efficiency which indicates that Each inverted sun yields a profit of S /. 0.60. With the implementation of the MRP, it is possible to obtain an improvement in inventory management by reducing inventories and by using the method of launching orders an increase of 0.51 worker blade is achieved increasing its productivity in relation to OM. When applying the instructions of work the operators already have defined their work to be done without loss of time With the study carried out, it will be verified that the best option is its implementation of a Material Requirements Planning (MRP I) system to improve its productivity in the repair of heavy machinery shovels.
