The response in yield and its variables in yellow corn Hybrid DK 7088 of four nutritional levels were studied; the unfertilized control, the standard nutritional level: NPK, the standard with calcium: NPK + Ca and the standard with calcium plus microelements: NPK + Ca + iron + manganese + zinc, in three plant populations: 110,000, 90,000 and 70,000 plants/ha, and drip irrigation. The trial was conducted at UNALM from January to June 2018. Edaphic conditions were moderate salinity, low fertility and non-equilibrium cation ratios. The response to the differentiated nutritional level was highly significant. The highest yield with 9187 kg/ha and the highest number of ears/plant is presented at NPK+Ca + Fe-Mn-Zn level, statistically similar to NPK+Ca, but different in 17% with respect to the control. Also, in total dry matter the differences are 23%, in water use efficiency (WUE) 17% and in leaf area index 16%, with respect to the control. At this nutritional level, the lowest transpiration coefficient was observed. In general, there was a positive response to NPK fertilization, also to a lesser degree to the application of calcium and there was no response to the application of microelements. Regarding the response to plant density, the differences are highly significant for corn yield, with the highest value at 90000 plants/ha, 14% higher than 70000 and 110,000 plants/ha, similar to each other. The highest number of ears/plant characterizes 90000 plants/ha higher by 42% and 14% respectively. There are no differences in ear weight. The highest WUE characterizes 90000 plants/ha, the highest transpiration coefficient with 70000 plants/ha and the highest leaf area index with 110,000 plants/ha.
