Resumen: The purpose of this report is to apply national and international regulations in the design of electrical installations for the use of busbar. This as a solution to the transport of great powers in industrial, office and commercial buildings.
This report is divided into three parts. The first is the theoretical basis where the basic concepts and terminology related to busbars are explained. In the second part, the different solutions in which the busbar can be applied, as well as the various accessories for the installation of this system are described. In the third part, a technical and economic analysis of the use of busbars is carried out compared to electric cables.
Finally, conclusions and recommendations are made on the advantages of busbars. In this way it is expected that this work will serve as a manual for future designs of electrical installations.
