The main objective of the research was to analyze the factors associated with street prostitution in the police jurisdiction of the Lince police station, 2021-2022. The study was methodologically framed in research with a qualitative approach of a basic type and phenomenological design in which 10 key informants knowledgeable about the study problem participated. In relation to the instrumentation, the in-depth interview was used to find out the opinion of the experts regarding the factors associated with street prostitution, complemented by the documentary review. The results showed that in the country there are no regulations that penalize prostitution, nor is there any municipal ordinance in the district of Lince that regulates this activity, in this sense, knowing of this legal vacuum, the women who are generally of Venezuelan origin exercise prostitution without any qualms; contributing to generate various related crimes such as pimping, human trafficking, hit men, illicit drug trafficking and the confrontation between criminal organizations that fight for control of this business; likewise, the operations carried out by PNP personnel and other institutions are preventive and dissuasive, (the prostitutes are intervened to carry out identity controls and later continue with their activities) due to the absence of regulations.
