Satisfaction of patients with lower extremity bone trauma regarding nursing care; Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, 2022 The care of postoperative patients with bone trauma of the lower extremities constitutes a fundamental practice within the academic formation of the Bachelor in Nursing that allows him/her to face with scientific knowledge and care techniques the cases presented in different levels of care and circumstances in the professional practice. The research entitled "Satisfaction of postoperative patients mediated by bone traumatism of the lower extremities regarding nursing care at Hospital II-2 Tarapoto; February-July, 2022" is a quantitative research of simple descriptive and transversal design, which was carried out with the objective of determining the satisfaction of postoperative patients with bone trauma of the lower extremities regarding nursing care. The research involved a population of 99 patients who met the selection criteria and were hospitalized in the surgery service. For the collection of data on the subject, a structured interview was used, and the instrument was a Likert-type questionnaire, with data collected prospectively, since information was taken from the patients who were hospitalized postoperatively. Results: The sociodemographic characteristics of postoperative patients with bone trauma to the lower extremities - Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, 58.6% were male; 46.5% were in the 18-29 age group and 29.3% in the 30-41 age group; 22.2% were students and 18.2% were public employees. The postoperative patients mediated by bone trauma of the lower extremities, 51.2 % had a hospitalization time of 5 to 10 days; with respect to the type of fracture, 27.2 % presented fracture of the heel-foot, 22.2 % fracture of the tibia-peroneum, and 19.2 % fracture of the pelvis-hip. Level of patient satisfaction with nursing care according to dimensions: 69.7% said they were satisfied in the technical-scientific dimension; 60.6% were satisfied in the human dimension; and 65.7% were satisfied in the environment dimension. It was concluded that 62.6%, which means the majority of postoperative patients with bone trauma of the lower extremities were satisfied with the care provided by the nursing professional, and 37.4% were dissatisfied.
