The objective of the research was to establish the relationship that exists between social responsibility university and citizenship skills in students at a private university in Lima. The research design was non-experimental cross-sectional correlational. The sample was made up of 147 students: 55.8% women and 44.2% men, between 17 and 25 years old (M=20.6; SD=2.4) studying economics and business at a private university in Lima. The sampling was intentional non-probabilistic. The Scale for Measuring the Degree of Social Responsibility of University Students (Adapted by Tapia, 2021) and the Scale to Measure Citizenship Competencies in University Students (Zambrano, 2018) were used. The results indicated that a positive moderate (rs= .589) and statistically significant correlation (p= .000) was observed between university social responsibility and citizenship competencies and in almost all dimensions (p < .05); with the exception of the dimensions actions and commitment to others and the environment, which were not correlated in a statistically significant way (p > .05). It is concluded that the greater the university social responsibility, the greater the citizen competencies there will be. Implications are discussed in the present investigation.
