The mobile industry, both at the national and international levels, is experiencing constant growth, driving telecommunications companies to optimize their operations and adapt to the diversity of sector needs. In this context, efficient inventory management stands as a fundamental pillar for business success, with benefits ranging from improved customer service to reduced losses due to stockouts and customer loyalty. This professional sufficiency work delves into the analysis of the current situation of a particular telecommunications company, aiming to identify and address its inventory control challenges. The main goal is to enhance the level of service in the inbound warehouse by employing engineering approaches and tools, including Lean Manufacturing and Standard Work. This study is based on the application of the 5S methodology, which seeks to reduce unproductive times in the warehouse during order preparation and standardize packaging processes to minimize packing times and reduce chip waste. Expected outcomes include a significant optimization of the inbound processes and an increase in operational efficiency. This research not only aims to address the specific challenges of the company under study but also to provide a guide for future improvement projects in the field of inventory management in the telecommunications industry.
