The present study originates from the fundamental question: What is the underlying relationship between theatrical performance and socio-emotional development in children who are part of the Small Actors Company Proscenium Theater Workshop in Iquitos in 2023? To explore this interrelationship, objectives have been established and a research hypothesis has been proposed. The adopted methodology is characterized by its design, which is defined as field, cross-sectional and bivariate, marking a non-experimental approach with an orientation towards relational research. To collect valuable information, the observation technique was used, using observation guides that were previously validated. It should be noted that the population under study included 76 children, who made up the analysis sample. Conclusion: The statistical evidence reflected in the value of the student’s t statistic, which is equal to 16.5264, together with the p-value (bilateral significance) of 0.000, leads to rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha) with a significance level of 5%, which conclusively demonstrates the existence of a statistically significant relationship between theatrical performance and socio-emotional development in children, which corroborates that theatrical performance is intrinsically related to development. socio-emotional in the children participating in the Small Actors Theater Workshop Proscenium Company Iquitos 2023.
