In this research work, the main objective is to carry out the design of the Alternate Via Malecon Quiliche to improve the passability of Av. Ricardo Palma in the city of Bambamarca - Cajamarca. The methodology used was a type of cross-sectional field research with an exploratory approach, taking as a study sample the section of Av. Ricardo Palma, that consists of eight blocks, made up of two intersections and six passages. Regarding the results that have been obtained in this study, it can be determined that, in their topographic survey of the study area, they identified slopes of -5.98% to 28.91%, from their vehicular traffic study an average daily index was developed. weekly rate of 5,008 veh/week, an annual average daily rate of 6,109.76 and an ESAL of 3,922,984.79 EE, in its soil study gravel and clayey or silty sand soils were identified with a SC and SM classification, with a CBR of 21.07% and 21.72%, under these considerations the design of the pavement structure was modified, determining its structure by granular Subbase and concrete slab with a thickness of 20 cm, and in terms of its budget, a budget was considered sufficient for the amount of S/ 2,307,221.63 soles. As a main conclusion, it can be mentioned that with the three-dimensional simulation in VISSIM 2.1., the elaborated proposal improves based on time and distance, due to its reduction of these parameters, this improvement of passability obtained was 41.53%.
