This work is developed in the context of the problems of the aeronautical sector and its economic performance in recent years, until its post-pandemic growth, which includes the restructuring of key areas and processes for the company, involving the implementation of new branches. In this sense, it was found that the purchase cycle time of the new branches exceeded 58% compared to the subsidiaries of the company under study. This generated penalties for non-payment delays and cost overruns due to manual tasks, which represented 3% of the total invoicing analyzed from January to June 2023. Therefore, in the present work, through the implementation of the Lean methodology and its diagnostic tools such as VSM and DAP. The contribution proposes the economic improvement, through the correct implementation of process standardization in the new branches, following a defined purchasing procedure and implementing the Poka Yoke and Kanban tools, which respectively allow the decrease of time waste and error control in the process. With these improvements, the technical gap was overcome by 19% and savings of $28,352.85 in a projected six months.
