The objective of this professional proficiency work is to define strategies that allow strengthening the organization's supply chain, improving the processes where problems arise due to poor management and lack of coordination between areas, which seeks to consolidate the positioning of the company within the market, increasing its customer base by adding value to them and marking an important difference with its main competitors. In order to identify these strategies, research has been carried out on different theories or models used in previous works where similar problems have been presented, highlighting among them the Lean Manufacturing methodology with the 5S tool, BPM business process management, the SMED and the total productive maintenance (TPM) method. On the other hand, given that the method used was based on a qualitative analysis, in-depth interviews were carried out with the main areas involved, such as Operations, in its planning and design lines, as well as the related areas of Logistics and Finance. With the results of the interviews and the references of the theoretical framework, it was possible to obtain important information that has allowed us to identify alternatives and determine, based on the evaluation criteria and their viability, the best solution that allows establishing an efficient supply chain in short-time supply, so it is expected that this work will help future studies that present similar problems in the areas of Operations and Logistics.
