The objectives of this study consist of determining the influence of the incorporation of recycled and crushed PET material on the physical and mechanical properties of the hydraulic mortar brick, based on the parameters of the NTP 399.602 standard, based on what is indicated in the NTP standard 399,604. The research is of the descriptive type, in terms of the aggregates and experimental due to the use in different proportions of addition of the crushed PET material in the preparation of the mixture, which was considered to have a minimum compression resistance of f'b=50kg. /cm2, in order to be used for structural purposes and based on the provisions of Standard E-070 Masonry of the National Building Regulations. As a result of this investigation, it was shown that in the case of physical properties such as density, only the designs that consider the addition of crushed PET material less than or equal to 15% comply with the standard parameters, while the values of the absorption is outside the parameters. Regarding compression resistance, only the design without the addition of PET material, with a f'b=59kg/cm2, complies with the provisions of the E-070 Masonry Standard.
