The present research aims to improve the physical and mechanical properties of adobe through the incorporation of molle in percentages of 1.5%, 2.5%, 3.5% and 4.5% based on its weight. Currently, adobe is the most widely used construction material in rural and low-income areas of Peru due to its low cost, easy acquisition, and ease of handling. Without taking into account that the main defects of this construction material are resistance and durability, even more so if it is found in areas of constant rain, due to contact with water. This is why the research aims to develop a unit of adobe dosed with molle shavings, which increases its strength and durability. In order to measure these mechanical (resistance) and physical (durability) parameters, a total of 120 adobe units were made, between traditional and molle-dosed adobes, which will be subjected to mechanical and physical tests, in order to establish a comparison of your results. After the tests carried out, the results are obtained, showing an improvement in the adobe units dosed with molle compared to the traditional ones, of which it was observed that the dosage M3 at 3.5% molle, obtained better results both in the physical tests and mechanical, being 12.35kg/cm2 in compressive strength in units and 5.6 kg/cm2 in compressive strength in adobe piles, by mechanical tests, a 10.276% percentage of water absorption and a classification Slight in the immersion test.
