Study with the Objective of determining the risk factors associated with preterm birth in pregnant women treated in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: Analytical, correlational study of cases and controls, quantitative, with a nonexperimental, cross-sectional, retrospective design. Results: The sociodemographic risk factor associated with preterm birth in pregnant women treated in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic is extreme age with an Odds Ratio = 2.78; value that Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.00 (p < 0.05). The obstetric risk factors associated with preterm delivery in pregnant women treated in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic are insufficient prenatal care, an Odds Ratio = 4.17; Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.00 (p < 0.05) and multigesta with an Odds Ratio value = 2.09; value that Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.00 (p < 0.05). The clinical risk factors that are associated with preterm birth in pregnant women treated in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic are the diagnosis of hypertensive disorder of pregnancy with an Odds Ratio value = 0.50; value that Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.01 (p < 0.05), anemia with an Odds Ratio value = 0.21; Chi Square = 18.69; value that Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.00 (p < 0.05) and premature rupture of membranes with an Odds Ratio value = 0.38; value that Fichers Exact provides for p = 0.00 (p < 0.05). Conclusions: The risk factors associated with preterm birth are extreme age, prenatal care, multiple gestations, hypertensive disorders, anemia, premature rupture of membranes.
