The present research comparatively analyzes the time, metrados, costs and incompatibilities of the specialty structures, architecture, sanitary installations and electrical installations making use of traditional methods and BIM methodology, these aspects measured directly in the design stage. Considering as a case study the project of educational infrastructure buildings "IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BIM METHODOLOGY IN THE EXPANSION OF PAVILIONS OF THE I.E. Nº 56435 OF MIRAFLORES. ESPINAR-CUSCO, 2021" To carry out the research, a theoretical basis was generated based on everything that is currently known about BIM by different authors and companies specialized in BIM work methodology from BIM fields, BIM maturation stages, requirements of the methodology its evolution and implementations in Peru and the world, Antecedents of previous research at the national and international level were analyzed. The sample used is made up of the 3 pavilions, which have the analysis of the items of Concrete in footings, Concrete in foundation beams, Concrete in overlays, Concrete in columns, Concrete in colonnettes, Concrete in banked beams, Concrete in lightened slab e = 20 mm, Concrete in solid slab, Masonry wall, False floor, Electrical equipment, Luminaires, Switches, Sockets, Power Line Pipe, Tube Joints, Internet Output, Cold Water Pipe, Valves, Pipe Joints, Sanitary Pipe and Sanitary Fittings. The methodology applied is of the descriptive level with a non-experimental design, obtaining as results that after having analyzed the cost, time and incompatibilities of the educational project there is a better result regarding the use of the BIM Methodology, being a maximum reduction of 52% in terms of modeling times and 57% in costs. On the other hand, the incompatibilities are a fact that stands out more with respect to the traditional methodology, because with the traditional methodology there is no tool that shows us or indicates what those incompatibilities are, the degree to which it affects the structural functionality, with the Navisworks it was possible to find all these incompatibilities and give them a solution to see the meters and subsequent real costs, Finally, it is concluded that the BIM methodology is a way of organizing and systematizing information, offers ease within the execution of a project which provides a more detailed and real control of the information through a 3D modeling of the structure, gives reliability and ease of modeling, as well as correction of errors.
