Introduction: There are still organizations such as mypes, who are mostly informal and are governed by the concept of productivity, thus neglecting the well-being of their employees and with it the quality of life at work and motivation at work, which long term generates higher staff turnover and low profitability. Objective: The aim is to determine the relationship between quality of life at work and motivation at work. Materials and methods: The questionnaires of both instruments were applied to 168 employees of mypes de Lima, between 20 and 49 years old. Results: A positive and significant correlation was found between the variables Identified Regulation and Intrinsic Motivation (RIMI) - Integration to the job (INTP) (r= .348, p< .001), RIMI - Job satisfaction in the administration (SAT) (r= .246, p< .01) and RIMI - Well-being achieved through work (BLT) (r= .430, p<.01). Conclusions: That is, the greater the fulfillment of the needs, the greater the tendency to experience positive feelings towards their work and projection into the future.
