"Inés" is about the unexpected friendship of a 22-year-old aspiring filmmaker and a 76-year-old sociologist. The young student, Rafael, arrives from Peru at Inés's house in Buenos Aires, days before the 2020’s coronavirus pandemic. The quarantine forged a friendship that resulted in a documentary project that portrays the life of the sociologist, as she tried to reconnect with her family. In addition, it became the young filmmaker's opportunity to get to know the country, which he came to visit, but which he met within four walls. Thus, the documentary becomes a portrait not only of the life of the elderly woman, but also of the student and her experience in Buenos Aires. Making the documentary required a process of reflection on the part of the director to understand the reasons that led him to record this documentary. This process allowed that in the montage process the images that the filmmaker had recorded in a random way make sense and become a moving story in the middle of an unfortunate context.
