In order to determine the optimal dose of bio-activator fertilizer (Silactiva) in the cultivation of cucumber (Cucumis sativus) hybrid Torneo 143 f-1 Hyb, with trellis system to obtain increases in yield and economic profitability in the conditions of the district of Lamas, a research work was carried out in the farm "El Pacífico" owned by Ing. Jorge Luis Peláez Rivera, located in the district and province of Lamas, department of San Martín. A Completely Randomized Statistical Block Design (CSBD) was applied with 5 treatments and 3 replications, and the following indicators were evaluated: plant height measurement, number of fruits produced per plant, number of fruits harvested per plant, fruit weight, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit yield in kg per plant, yield in tons/ha and economic análisis. The results obtained indicate that the variables that better defined the production of cucumber were: through the application of 4.0 kg.ha-1 of Silactiva as bio-activator of growth, the best and greater results were obtained with 239 102.5 kg.ha-1 of yield, 485 976.3 fruits harvested.ha-1, 492.2 g of fruit weight, 44 cm and 5.6 cm for fruit length and diameter respectively, 62.41 flowers/plant and 17.5 fruits/plant respectively and 199.7 cm of plant height.
