Predicting natural disasters is very important because it can avoid human disasters and economic losses. In the present study entitled, design of a risk management system for the possible landslide of the Picol, sector Larapa 2017, It has its genesis on the responsibility to avoid the social consequences, human relations and the slide of the Picol hill. The main objective of the research is the risk management system for the landslide of the hill, and the guidelines of the general hypothesis that the landslide is a very big risk that can cause human and material damages in the sector of Larapa. The type of research is theoretical - explanatory, establishing the association of two variables. The first is the possibility of sliding and the second is the proposal of a risk management system. To carry out the study, it was necessary to apply surveys and interviews to social actors such as the municipalities of San Sebastián and San Jerónimo, a national institute for civil defense, a center for regional emergency operations. Concluding that a system of risk management before the landslide of the Picol hill, it will help to the population to act efficiently and effectively in any situation of danger, in this dramatically way reduce human losses and material damages.
