The objective of this study was to determine the influence of temperature on the concentration of sodium fluoride in fluoride gels expended in the district of Cusco; the sample was composed of 60 fluoride gels of the same batch and validity of two brands: Fluofar ® and its two presentations (pH neutral and acidic) and Fluorgel Maquira ® and its two presentations (pH neutral and acidic). Each fluoride gel was obtained four samples: to determine pH, to determine the concentration of sodium fluoride at room temperature, in order to determine the concentration of sodium fluoride after having been subjected to temperature of 8°C for three months, to determine the concentration of sodium fluoride after having been subjected to temperature of 20°C for three months. The determination of concentration of Sodium Fluoride was performed using the technique of distillation and titration. For the analysis of the results we used the Student's t-test and Ftest of analysis of variance. From the results obtained, it was concluded that the increase of the temperature influence the decrease in the concentration of sodium fluoride being statistically significant in the fluoride gels with tangy acid pH (gels) and in the fluoride gels with neutral pH maintains its further concentration increased the temperature. The concentration of sodium fluoride indicated by the manufacturer has decreased significantly as compared to the concentration of sodium fluoride found in the laboratory.
