The objective of the research is to determine the levels of symbolic violence according to the forms of manifestation and the characteristics of the students, as well as to describe their feelings and perceptions regarding the manifestations of symbolic violence in the Faculty of Health Sciences. from the Universidad Andina del Cusco, 2018. The methodology: is a descriptive, exploratory, mixed approach, non-experimental, crosssectional design, the techniques applied were the survey and the interview, while the instruments used were: the statement questionnaire on the Likert scale and the semistructured interview. The sampling is of a non-probabilistic, intentional type, in which 133 students from the different Professional Schools participated for the quantitative part, while for the qualitative part, 15 students were selected for convenience. The results: All forms of manifestation of symbolic violence are found at the medium level (48.1%), within which the manifestations of membership association (57.9%) and verbal (51.9%) are the more frequent. The Professional School with a high level of symbolic violence was Medical Technology (2.3%), followed by Human Medicine (16.5%) and Obstetrics (6%), which have a tendency from a medium to high level compared to the other Professional Schools, whose level of presentation tends to be medium to low. According to sex, the level of symbolic violence is higher in men (54.2%) compared to women (44.7%) and finally, according to age, it is observed that the level of symbolic violence is highest in students from 16 to 21 years old (30.8%), followed by those from 22 to 27 years old (13.5%). In relation to the feelings against the manifestations of symbolic violence, the following were identified: sadness, helplessness, disappointment, anger and indifference mainly. And according to the perception of symbolic violence within the university environment, it was expressed that there is symbolic violence, but that sometimes they are not recognized by the victim, nor by the aggressor.
