The general objective was to evaluate the effect of three levels of palm kernel cake (10%, 15%, and 20%) as an energy source in the feeding of guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus), in the growth and fattening stages of the region. San Martín, was carried out in the guinea pig module of the Miraflores Agricultural Academic Center of the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences of the UNSM-T, 30-day-old Creole guinea pigs were evaluated for a period of 70 days. We use a Completely Random Design (DCA), with four treatments: T0 (control) green forage plus (guinea pig), (T1) green forage plus 10% palm kernel cake, (T2) green forage plus 15% palm kernel cake, (T3) green forage plus 20% palm kernel cake; With 2 repetitions per treatment, the productive index was evaluated (weight gain, feed conversion, efficiency in the use of feed, profitability and mortality rate). Treatment T1 obtained an average (952.3 g) of final weight, surpassing treatments T2, T3 and T0, with averages of 937.4 g; 934.8 g and 884.0 g of final weight respectively. Treatment T0 obtained an average 4.79 of C.A, surpassing treatments T1, T2 and T3 with averages of 3.88; 3.73 and 3.4 of C.A. respectively. Treatment T1 obtained an average of 704.3 g of weight gain, surpassing treatments T2, T3 and T0 with averages 686.5 g, 683.4 g and 630.8 g of weight gain respectively.
