The present thesis work comprises five (05) chapters, which are distributed as follows: Problem Statement, Theoretical Framework, Methodology, Results and Analysis, and finally, the Solution Proposal. The main objective of this study is to apply the Last Planner System to improve compliance with deadlines in the execution stage of basement support walls for the construction of a hotel in the Miraflores district. As a case study, the construction of the “Hotel Allpa 2” project has been taken, the execution of which is in charge of a private company.Given the duration of the project, the population corresponds to the four levels of support walls for basements of the building; while the sample corresponds to the second ring of said constructive stage. The methodology used develops a quantitativeapproach, the scope is correlational and the design is non-experimental.The results showed that there is a direct relationship between the application of the Last Planner System® (LPS) and the increase in reliability in the scheduling of activities; that is to say, with the fulfillment of terms established in the weekly planning. In addition, the study carried out shows a clear association between indicators related to the LPS, such as the Percentage of Activities Completed (PAC or PPC) and the Task Made Ready (TMR), with the increasein the level of performance in terms of physical progress of the work is concerned, which has been measured using the Schedule Performance Index (SPI); so it was shown that there is a correlation between the aforementioned indicators. Finally, it is concluded that the correct use of the Last Planner System favors the assurance of compliance with scheduled activities; that is, it provides greater reliability of achieving the execution of planned activities.
