In this study, in vitro culture protocols of an improved blackberry variety, "Marionberry", were developed. For the introduction stage, the disinfection protocol consisted of the following steps: washing stakes with carbonic soap, suspension in 2 percent sodium hypochlorite and tween 20, for 20 minutes and finally rinsing with sterile distilled wáter inside the Laminar flow chamber. In order to find a medium of establishment, different culture media were tried: WP, WP + ANA 0.5, MS and O MS1 / 2. From these media, WP medium obtained the best results in terms of the evaluated variables that were: Stem length, number of live leaves and number of roots. Subsequently, different media were prepared for the multiplication stage. The composition of the media had plant hormones at different concentrations and combinations among them, such as Benzyl amino purine (BAP), Naphthalenacetic Acid (ANA), Butyric Indole Acid (IBA) and gibberellic acid (GA3). Depending on the results of the variables: Stem length, number of green leaves, number of bud and number of roots, the medium (T4) was the Most optimum. The composition of this medium consisted in WP médium supplemented with BAP 1.0 ppm + GA3 0.5 ppm. Finally, a last treatment with WP supplemented with IBA 2.0 ppm was developed, which showed better results because produced thicker stems with vigorous growth.
