Adjusting judgment is the most widely used method in business practice. That is why it is important to investigate the impact of the forecaster´s judgment on the accuracy of the forecasts it generated for the company. In this investigation, the various positions found that include those that indicate that they are in favour and neutral positions are exposed, as well as the characteristics of the forecaster and contextual factors that cause biases that influence the accuracy of the forecast. Likewise, various forecasting techniques with judgment adjustment and criteria that contribute to improve the accuracy of quantitative forecasts are presented. The results of this investigation determine that there is no consensus between the positions identified with respect to the adjustment of judgment, however, the effect of the adjustment of judgment could vary according to the environment in which the company develops and how it relates to contextual factors.
