The natural area of aguajales was evaluated, for the determination of its ecotouristic potential, in the district of Yantaló-2017, during the dry and wet season, which question was: What is the ecotouristic potential of the natural area of aguajales del Yantaló district-2017? For which it was formulated as a general objective; determine the ecotouristic potentialities of the natural area of aguajales of the district of Yantaló; for this, field observation will be made to record natural and cultural resources; its composition, abundance, density and diversity within the selected area; where eight (08) transects were conducted in the study area to evaluate flora and vegetation; applying the methodology of transects or Whittaker plots, which reported a total richness of 309 botanical species that are grouped into 68 taxonomic families. Regarding fauna, it was carried out in 09, 08, 04 and 08 evaluation stations respectively; resulting in ornithofauna a total of 129 species, mastofauna 9 species, herpetofauna 34 species and entomofauna 72 species. In terms of cultural resources, there are two fairs that are a festival of the banana and the siquisapa ant; and the patron saint festivities. The existing ecotourism situation in the study area reports a highly significant potential in terms of "resources and main attractions that preliminarily reports 553 species among the floristic and faunal components, which makes it a very potential space for ecotourism.
