The objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between the State Nutrition, Visual Acuity and Academic Performance of girls and boys from 6 to 13 years of age from I.E. Nº: 0096 "Las Palmas" Downtown Las Palmas August - December 2016, correlational descriptive study, the sample was 80 girls and children, as an interview method and as an instrument the registration form of body mass index data with which nutritional status was calculated, of visual acuity with the Snellen test and academic performance through the record of teachers' notes Results, 63.7% (51) of the children between the ages of 6 and 13 years of the institution Las Palmas have a normal nutritional status, in addition to 92.5% (74) of children between the ages of 6 and 13 have normal visual acuity. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and academic performance p = 0.004, as well as a significant relationship between visual acuity and academic performance p = 0.005.
