one rarely stops to think how our lives affect the environment in which they live, study, work and play. Similarly, the scenarios in which we operate have a great influence on the way we think, feel and behave. The overall objective of this research was to evaluate the trend of value attitudes on Bosque Alto Mayo Protection of students in fifth and sixth grade of primary education of School No. 00 536 "Manuel Second Eagle Velasquez" district of Rioja, 2011. We designed, validated and applied the Likert scale value attitudes about the Alto Mayo Protected Forest, which was structured based attitudes in the cognitive, affective and intentional and from the perspective of critica! thinking what motivational. The value attitudes about the Alto Mayo Protected Forest, has a theoretical basis in cognitive theory approach, reinforcement social_ theory, ecological-evolutionary theory and theory of reasoned action. The research design was substantive - descriptive with a population sample that consisted of 248 students (141 and 107 fifth grade sixth grade). The application of the scale was developed for two days (14 and 15 June 2011, finding that 27% shows the level of favorable or unfavorable, 65% favorable level 8% favorable level, assuming 73% of students in fifth and sixth grade levels and earned favorable our research hypothesis, as evidenced by the statistical results where the estimated value and tabular value. meaning that the trend of value attitudes about Alto Mayo Protected Forest of students in fifth and- sixth grades of primary education of School No. 00536 "Segundo Manuel Velasquez Eagle" Rioja district, 2011, are favorable.
