This thesis will examine the homophobic bullying that takes place in some schools in the cities of Lima and Callao , the “population” of this study is specifically limited to high school adolescent men whose traits are considered (from a social and cultural perspective) as “female behavior” (weak , sensitive , loving , sensitive , etc.) and therefore, those manners do not fit the pattern of hegemonic masculinity, that is why those “kinds of adolescents” are treated as threatening to what a man "should be". In this sense, from gender and masculinities studies, we will explain the problem of homophobic bullying to finally address it to the legal studies (specifically from the International Law of Human Rights) in order to demonstrate that homophobic bullying violates multiple human rights. In the other hand, Peruvian state is supposed to be the guarantor of the protection of those Human Rights and should be responsible to the international community when the State does not comply with its international obligations.
