The objective of this thesis study is to show the potential contribution that social networks offer to entrepreneurs Peruvian women, using them as powerful tools for personal growth and professional development in various areas contributing to sustainable development of Peru. The investigation was started because it is realizing that the use of the internet and social networks are growing actively worldwide; and Peru is no stranger to this phenomenon, since it ranks as one of the most active users of social network Facebook used interchangeably between men and women. These social networks are widely used in various fields like social, personal, even in workplaces not only for the social sphere but also labor and research, thus becoming a social phenomenon as a phenomenon in business; the sample was formed for two types of women, women entrepreneurs and owners of formal business and women in a senior position in their workplaces. The analysis of the data showed that social networks have a positive influence on personal growth of women gaining confidence to make known their business, increasing its contact network. Beside the professional growth by facilitating the search for opportunities; by the way the improvement in the management of advertising tools, communication channels, pushing sales what means saving time and costs, and finally to get a good perception of the use of virtual social networks for their businesses in her personal lives and professional
