The objective of this study is to implement BIM in the infrastructure recovery project of the Ramiro Aurelio Ñique Espiritu Educational Institution in the district of Moche, La Libertad. A quantitative methodology was used, of basic type, non-experimental, transversal, descriptive design, the technique of documentary analysis and observation was used for the 3D modeling of the specialties of architecture, structures and sanitary and electrical installations carried out in Revit software, as well as obtaining BIM metrics and budgets that were compared with those of the technical file and in Navisworks the incompatibilities were detected, as an instrument, summary sheets were used. The results obtained showed that the drawings in the technical file lacked interoperability, determining inconsistencies between specialties, 76.3% of interferences between architecture and structures, 12% in structures vs. As a consequence, the BIM budget was 21% higher, being the structural specialty the one with the highest budget variation, with a 25% increase, followed by the architectural specialty with 16% more than the budget made with the traditional method. It was concluded that the implementation of BIM was efficient since it helped to better understand, manage and specify the information extracted from the technical file, estimating more precise measurements and costs, close to reality
