The gender equality of opportunities and the crucial role of teachers in its implementation were studied; therefore, the general objective was to determine the differences in commitment to the equity approach among teachers at the Naval School of Peru (ESNA) and the Naval Public Technological Higher Education Institute (CITEN) in 2023. The adopted methodology was basic in nature, non-participatory design, meaning there is no manipulation of any variables, descriptive and comparative, with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 298 teachers from both institutions, and the sample comprised 30 teachers from ESNA and 139 from CITEN. A 19-item questionnaire distributed across 3 dimensions was used, approved by expert evaluation with a high level of reliability. The results indicated that the majority of teachers show a high level of commitment to gender equality for both men and women in both institutions. The Mann-Whitney "U" test was used for the hypothesis test, yielding a p-value of 0.292 (p > 0.05), leading to the acceptance of the null hypothesis and the rejection of the alternative hypothesis. This finding was similarly observed across sociocultural, teacher-student, and normative dimensions among teachers from both institutions. It is concluded that there are no differences in commitment to the gender equality approach among teachers from both institutions.
