This research aims to determine if there is a relationship between academic self-efficacy and self-regulated learning in students of the University of Lima. The design used in the research was descriptive correlational, the sample used is 170 students from the faculty of psychology. The data collection procedure was collective, the instruments used were the Academic Self-efficacy scale developed by Robles (2018) and the Self-Regulation Inventory for Learning (SRLI) designed by Linder and Harris (1992). The SPSS version 25 was used for data analysis, for the analysis of data concordance to the normal curve the Kolmogorov Smirnov test was used, and for hypothesis testing, the Spearman coefficient was used. The result indicates a correlation between academic self-efficacy and self-regulated learning constructs as well as in all its dimensions, except between the expectation of the situation and the dimensions of self-regulated learning. The implications of these results are discussed.
