Abstract: La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar la relación entre resiliencia y el estilo de afrontamiento en personas diagnosticadas con COVID-19, en 70 participantes entre hombres y mujeres de 20 a 52 años de edad. Los instrumentos usados fueron la Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild y Young (1993) adaptada por Novella (2002) y estandarizado en estudiantes universitarios de Lima Metropolitana por Gómez (2019). Asimismo, para los Estilos de Afrontamiento se usó el Cuestionario COPE 60, desarrollado por Carver et al. (1989). Los resultados demostraron que existe una correlación positiva moderada y significativa, entre Resiliencia y los Estilo de afrontamiento al estrés, especialmente en el Afrontamiento centrado en la solución del problema. Asimismo, no existe diferencia significativa en las dimensiones de la variable resiliencia según sexo, según actividad laboral, pero si hay una diferencia significativa según edad. Por último, no existe diferencia significativa en la variable afrontamiento al estrés en personas, según sexo, según actividad laboral y según edad.
The present research aimed to determine the relationship between resilience and coping style in people diagnosed with COVID-19, in 70 participants between men and women aged 20 to 52 years. The instruments used were the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale (1993) adapted by Novella (2002) and standardized in university students of Metropolitan Lima by Gómez (2019). Likewise, for coping styles, the COPE 60 Questionnaire was used, developed by Carver et al. (1989) and adapted by Chau et al. (2002). The results showed that there is a moderate and significant positive correlation between Resilience and Coping Style to stress, especially in Coping focused on the solution of the problem. Likewise, there is no significant difference in the dimensions of the resilience variable according to sex, according to work activity, but there is a significant difference according to age. Finally, there is no significant difference in the variable coping with stress in people, according to sex, according to work activity and according to age.
