The purpose of this study is to describe the perception of the collaborators about the importance of the spiritual leadership of the director in the management of a Catholic school in Lima. This investigation uses the exploratory level, a descriptive substantive type and an ethnographic design, seeking the importance and relevance so that future researches can expand it. The sample population consists of eleven collaborators who work in different areas of the management of a Catholic school and were selected for judgment, feasibility and convenience. Through an interview script, they expressed their perceptions about the spiritual leadership of the director in their institution. The study establishes that the participants agree on the importance of the manager's spiritual leadership, which facilitates the practice of human management and values the person in all their dimensions. Finally, some pertinent recommendations are proposed to deepen the knowledge of spiritual leadership within the educational community. Therefore, the study contributes into the knowledge of a type of leadership that transcends in the life of the person and fosters a sense of belonging and commitment to achieve the objectives within the institution.
