The present research aims to establish the relationship between family social climate and anxiety in children aged 6 to 8 years from a Health Center in East Lima. The sample consisted of 120 male and female children. The present study is of a basic type and descriptive correlational design. The instruments used were: the family social climate scale (FES) adapted by Cesar Ruiz Alva and Eva Guerra (1993) that measures three dimensions of the family social climate, relationship, development and stability, in addition each dimension includes indicators and the anxiety questionnaire Infantil (CAS) adapted in Lima by Cesar Ruiz Alva (2009) anxiety in children aged 6 to 8 years. In relation to the results, he found that there is a significant correlation in general between family social climate and anxiety. In relation to the dimensions evaluated, there is no significant correlation with the relationship dimension, in the same way with the areas of cohesion, expression and conflict. In the development dimension there is a significant correlation with the areas of action, intellectual - cultural and morality - religiosity, however, no significant correlation was found with the autonomy and social - recreational areas.
