The main objective of this research is to determine if there is a relationship between work stress and anxiety in administrative workers of private organizations in Lima during the pandemic. The study is non-descriptive of substantive or basic type and correlational design. Having as a population a total of 56 administrative workers of both sexes who work in different private organizations in Metropolitan Lima and whose ages range between 25 and 40 years. Two instruments were used to measure the variables: Work Stress Questionnaire – JSS by Charles D. Spielberger and Peter R. Vagg; and StateTrait Anxiety Questionnaire by C. D. Spielberger, R. L. Gorsuch, and R. E. Lushene. The results obtained showed that the indices of work stress, work pressure and lack of support from the organization with the results of the StateTrait Anxiety variable showed that no significant difference was found. In turn, it was found that in relation to the state-trait Anxiety index with the variable according to sex there is no significant difference. In addition, a significant difference was found in the rates of work stress, work pressure and lack of support from the organization according to work activity. On the other hand, a statistically significant difference was found according to sex, in the three aforementioned indices.
