In order to determine the relationship between accreditation and student satisfaction in the pre-school and elementary school curricula of a Public School of Higher Pedagogical Education, 203 students from the second to the fifth year of training were evaluated and administered two questionnaires. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between both variables (rp=0.59, p<05), i.e., as accreditation scores increase, students' satisfaction with the educational service received increases. Likewise, the study identified positive and significant relationships in specific aspects of the relationship between the perception of accreditation and: satisfaction regarding the teaching-learning process (rs =0.66, p<001), satisfaction regarding the quality of teaching (rs =0.50, p<.05), satisfaction regarding the quality of research (rs =0.53, p<.001), as well as, satisfaction regarding the quality of social projection (rs =0.51, p<001). This study highlights the importance of knowing systematically and with the appropriate methodology the perception of students regarding the changes offered in the quality of educational services at the higher level, for the sake of a permanent practice of self-regulation and improvement.
