The dissemination of information has changed with the digitization of information, considering that currently audiences are the generators of content. Hence, the fake news impacts audiences significantly, especially the perception of older adults. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to determine the perception of older adults on (CIAM) (Centro Integral del Adulto Mayor), placed on La Molina district, about fake news phenomenon on Facebook social network, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research had a qualitative approach, descriptive type, and phenomenological design. 22 older adults were the participants (men and women) between 65 and 70 years old as an average.
