Due to the terrorist attack of 2001 that the United States suffered, the country took the initiative to implement greater security in all types of income to its country, including merchandise, that is where C-TPAT is born, starting from this initiative, is that the Organization Implemented the SAFE Framework, which consists of standards to guarantee and facilitate the safe movement in the international logistics chain, in order to address these standards, the pillars of the SAFE Framework are born. Within the customs - company pillar, we create what in Peru we know as Authorized Economic Operator, in other countries known by other names. The certification Authorized Economic Operator seeks to guarantee the safety of the operators in the international market, currently in our country there are already 49 companies divided between agencies of customs agencies, exporters, imports and customs warehouses that already have since 2013 with this certification, the Which should be emphasized that it is granted only by the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration, is a free procedure for companies, which must only comply with the parameters that are measured by the same entity.
