This investigation is based on the architectural project of an abandoned shelter and child protection center in the district of Pachacamac, Province of Lima, Peru. Currently there are mentoring programs which have facilities that provide care and child welfare; but they do not have adequate infrastructure to provide the child a pleasant and safe environment, which aims to integrate them into society and allow them to live without feeling excluded. The youth and Child Protection Center has a social, sustainable and environmental approach seeking to integrate the project with the environment and also to create a city where children do not feel excluded. All dimensions about the process of living in the shelter house and in the center of child protection will be developed. The child psychology will be studied, and appropriate and comfortable spaces will be proposed according to the child's age.
