The study Objective: Determine the maternal and neonatal complications associated with the induction of labor in pregnant women at the Regional Hospital of Cusco, 2023. Methodology: It is descriptive research, with a quantitative, correlational approach, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the population is 96 patients treated at the Regional Hospital of Cusco and the sample consisted of 77 clinical histories of patients who had labor induced, the technique used is documentary analysis and the instrument is the data collection form. Results: 55.8% of pregnant women are multiparous; 81.8% had a Bishop index ≥ 7; in addition, 84.4% presented a normal variability of 5 - 25 bpm; followed by a minimum of 6.5% that presented> 3 movements in 10 minutes, 89.6% presented absent accelerations and decelerations; 41.5% were given oxytocin 66 (85.7%) from 9 to 16 drops x min and 13.0% were given Misoprostol 11 (14.2%) of 25 µg, within the induction monitoring the normal fetal heart rate of 120-160 bpm was presented in 88.3%, followed by <5 contractions in 10 minutes in 67.5% with progressive dilation in 84.4% and duration time 0-6 hours in 74.0%, in the induction results the type of delivery is mostly vaginal delivery in 72.7% with APGAR (7-10) of 77.9%. From this, it is shown that the Placental abruption is related to the method of labor induction with a significance of 0.047; maternal mortality is also related to the method of induction with a significance of 0.043 and meconium aspiration syndrome is associated with the method of induction with a significance of 0.036. Conclusion: There is an association between maternal and neonatal complications, induction of labor in pregnant women treated at the Regional Hospital of Cusco, 2023.
