The AV. The Culture presents an asphalt pavement in a state of deterioration to causes associated with its use, design and construction process, that is why the present research work has as objective to determine the PA Condition Index of the Av. The Culture - Laredo District - Trujillo. To determine the pavement condition index of the Av. The Culture - Distrito Laredo - Trujillo was used the PCI (Present Condition Index) methodology, widely used in several Latin American countries. The pavement condition index takes values that range from O (for the failure condition) to 100 (excellent condition). For the assessment of the pavement condition of the aforementioned road, a detailed visual inspection was carried out on one thousand linear meters of pavement surface, noting the localized faults and determining the severity thereof, using measurement instruments and the catalog of faults for asphalt pavements, after the lifting of faults the work is done in the cabinet with the final calculation of PCI, It was concluded that Av. the Culture - Distrito Laredo - Trujillo presents a pavement in GOOD condition, with a weighted PCI equal to 69.54 The majority of faults were functional failures, which do not affect the normal transit of vehicles, as they do not cause structural damage to the pavement. Finally, some repair techniques have been recommended, according to the detected faults, to restore the road to its original condition.
