This work was done to present the theoretical bases that allow comparing two construction systems so that the entrepreneur, engineer or another, decides with greater certainty, which system to use according to the magnitude of the work. According to both national and foreign researchers, they analyzed the construction systems based on prefabricated and traditional, and showed that building with prefabricated, is more efficient. This investigation corresponds to the non-experimental cross-sectional design, a primary information source was used, for the slabs with BLS, the data were obtained directly from the slabs under study. The data collection was obtained through the observation guides. Descriptive statistics was used as a method of data analysis, with the help of graphs and tables. A traditional slab cost S / .24700 and a slab with SVB cost S / .20600. It was concluded that construction systems with prefabricated concrete elements such as the SVB for slabs have key benefits in a construction project and outstanding advantages over conventional work, emptied in situ.
