The present investigation has been carried out by Hebert Josué Arroyo Abanto, in the city of Trujillo in a period of six months in 2018. The objective of this work is to determine the influence of the addition of recycled plastic fibers on the physical and mechanical properties of tongue-and-groove concrete bricks; which has been obtained by physical and mechanical testing of tongue and groove bricks made from added concrete with percentages of 5%, 10% and 15% of recycled plastic fibers. This research work seeks a new solution to the use of plastic improving the physical and mechanical properties of the tongue and groove brick; allowing to apply it to new constructions that are economical, practical and safe. The study is based on the Peruvian Technical Standard and ASTM, in the tests of: Compression Resistance (NTP 399.604), Flexural Resistance Test (ASTM C 78), Impact Resistance (NTP 339.613) and Absorption Test ( NTP 399,604). This work has an experimental research, whose sample consists of 48 tongue and groove bricks of concrete added with recycled plastic fibers; in which observation and observational guidance have been used as a technique and data collection instrument, respectively. Once the results were obtained, the application of the statistical Inference method was made by means of the Student-T-hypothesis validation instrument. It was obtained that with the addition of 10% plastic fibers, the resistance to compression is 127.83 kg / cm2, the resistance to bending is 4.91 kg / cm2, it resists 36 blows before breaking in the Impact test and the percentage of absorption is 16.73%. It was determined that the influence of recycled plastic fibers in greater percentage (10% of Plastic Fibers), decrease the resistance to compression as well as the percentage of absorption of the tongue and groove concrete brick, while also increasing the resistance to bending and
