The present sufficiency work consists in the design of a drinking water system, taking as a case study the town center Santa Fe de Carrizal, belonging to the district of Chugay, province of Sánchez Carrión, department of La Libertad. Location that does not have an adequate potable water system, which implies a increase of diseases and low quality of life. For this investigation, we used the type of non-experimental research, of transversal and descriptive design. Further, the project variable responds to the one of an investigation by objectives, where defines the population under study, the components of the water system are located drinking water and calculations are developed for the system in question. This investigation developed following parameters established in the standard "Options Guide Technologies for Water Supply Systems for Human Consumption and Sanitation in the Rural Area "of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, approved in 2016, also E.030 Seismic Design, E.050 Soils and Foundations and E.060 Armed Concrete. It was considered as a solution alternative the catchment systems (slope type), line of conduction (1498.2m of pvc sp pipe - class 10 and 7.5), reservoir (6m3), valves control (8 und), distribution line (1477.06m pvc sp pipe - class 10 and 7.5), and home connections (56 und). At the end of the work it was possible to conclude that the proposal was previously executed mentioned will improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, since they will be endowed of an adequate drinking water system.
