The present investigation deals with the issue of seismic housing built with the material more widespread and common in our country, such as the adobe. The main objective is to propose a seismic design of housing built with adobe projecting habitable spaces or useful being these low-cost buildings to withstand seismic actions, avoiding as much as possible the partial or total collapse of the same, thus promoting self-responsible with the use of improved materials, reinforced and prepared for a better behavior in the face of natural phenomena. For the development of this research has used a methodology where you are going to evaluate a set of 10 houses in the district of papier-mâché and identify common failures in walls, determine the most appropriate plant configuration and propose the structural system of housing to meet the standards of MBA full time, using the software ETABS for analysis and modeling. In addition it will analyze the composition and preparation of the adobe this being the primordial material of the adobe constructions. And, finally, draw up the plans and budget of the dwelling. As a result, bending failures we have a 15.79%, 38.60% by traction and 45.61% for cutting. According to the damage assessment found the 12.75% are due to the erosion of foundations caused by rains, a 30.68% is due to water leaks in roofs with Tile of clay and a 56.57.75% is due to the holes in external walls caused by a bird called woodpecker or cargacha. Concluding housing for this District should be a single floor according to the standard E080. The foundations of 0.80 m depth and width of 0.60 m, the walls of 0.40 m thick, distributed in both directions XX - YY, a collar beam of wood on the edge of the same and the roof with 2 waterfalls.
